Dr. Key Carter
PT, DPT, M.S., ATC, CSCS
I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy with a Masters in athletic training, Bachelors in Psychology and certified in Strength & Conditioning. I work with people who want clear answers, thoughtful care, and a plan that actually makes sense for their body and their life.
My path into physical therapy started through athletic training, where I learned very quickly that pain and injury aren’t just about one muscle or one diagnosis. I became interested in how people move, why certain issues keep coming back, and how stress, training, and daily habits all play a role. That curiosity pushed me to continue my education and earn my Doctorate in Physical Therapy at the University of Southern California.
What matters most to me is how care feels on your end. I don’t rush sessions, follow scripts, or give the same exercises to everyone. I take the time to listen, look at how you move, and explain what I’m seeing in a way that actually makes sense. The goal isn’t just to feel better for a week; it’s to understand your body well enough that you’re not constantly guessing or worried about re-injury.
I work with active adults, athletes, and people who simply want to move through life with less limitation. Some are dealing with pain, some are coming back from injury, and others just feel like their body isn’t working the way it used to. Wherever you’re starting, we build a plan together that fits your goals, your schedule, and your comfort level.
This is collaborative care: You’ll always know why we’re doing what we’re doing, what progress should look like, and what the next step is. My job is to guide the process, adjust when needed, and make sure you’re supported the whole way through.
If you’re looking for physical therapy that’s personal, thoughtful, and built around you - I’m glad you’re here.
Takes ~2 minutes. I review every submission personally.
